Welcome to the Tour Golf Podcast with The Tour Trainers! The professionals comprising  The Tour Trainers include the most sought after  trainers from around the golfing world  with varying areas of expertise who've come together to bring you an inside look at what it takes to perform at the top level of golf. The Tour Trainers have experience with the PGA, European, LIV and LPGA tours, Olympic games, major championships, World Golf Championships, Ryder Cups and President’s Cups.

Our team will explore a behind the scenes insight into the many facets that impact life and performance on the professional tours .  The goal of providing golfers of all physical and golfing skill sets an opportunity to borrow the tricks, systems, biohacks, modalities and techniques currently being utilized by the elite players and trainers in the game and  implement them into your lifestyle and golf preparation.   

The Trainers will explore coaching philosophies, training and recovery modalities, mindset hacks, injury recovery, Tour operations, current golf events and trends, share secrets on how the pros do it, and more.

NIC CATTERALL

Nic Catterall is an Australian high-performance coach, specializing in Strength & Conditioning, Musculoskeletal Therapy and Sports Science. Nic is currently the Director of High Performance for Ripper GC of the LIV Golf League. With over 10 years of professional golf tour experience, plus 15 years of clinical and industry experience across multiple sporting codes, Nic takes a tailored approach to each athlete he works with and helps develop athletes to perform at their best on and off the course. 

ADAM KERLEY

Adam travels on the PGA Tour and has worked with many professional golfers. Prior to traveling on tour, Adam held positions as a physical therapist and practiced Sport Medicine services in various environments, including D1 sports, health systems, collegiate athletic training programs, and advanced sports training services.
Adam holds a BA in Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University. In addition to being a licensed physical therapist, he is a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. 

DR. CRAIG DAVIES

Dr. Craig is a doctor, conditioning coach, fitness trainer, manual therapist, author, motivational speaker, Nike golf mentor, creator of golf performance therapy certification programs, and head trainer for Athletic Performance and Therapy. Dr. Craig has worked over 500 events on the PGA Tour, helping athletes accumulate over 40 wins, including major championships, World Golf Championships, Olympic Gold, Ryder Cups and President’s Cups. Having consulted for a dozen international federations and organizations, Craig is one of the most sought after trainers in the world, for individuals seeking to optimize their personal performance and achieve their goals in health, wellness, and life.

Brian Smith

Brian Smith is a chiropractor specializing in golf, with over 15 years of experience in the industry, including extensive work on the PGA TOUR. He has a broad background in sports and clinical practice, and enjoys working with athletes ranging from amateurs to elite professionals. Brian leverages his expertise in golf assessment to help his tour professionals excel and win on tour. Residing in Sea Island, Georgia, he travels approximately 25 weeks a year on tour.

Dr. Troy Van Biezen

Dr. Troy Van is a leading sports performance coach, a prominent nutrition advocate, and chiropractor to a number of professional athletes. He has spent more than 20 years working with PGA Tour stars and is currently the chiropractor for The NHL’s Dallas Stars. His knowledge and expertise for treating injuries and improving sports performance is known locally and nationwide. Athletes throughout North America have sought out Dr. Troy's expertise to help them recover from injury and improve their performance.
